We offer a wide range of customizable options for our showers and tub showers to meet your specific needs and preferences. Our offerings include various shapes and accessories to ensure your project aligns perfectly with your vision. Please note that while we can customize many aspects of our units, we are unable to alter their size as they are manufactured using a mould.

Our acrylic bathware products are only available in white, which is crafted from 100% cast acrylic. This material offers exceptional durability, clarity, and resistance to discoloration over time compared to other materials. It provides a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean and maintain, ensuring long-lasting beauty and functionality in your space.

100% Cast Acrylic is one of the most durable bath and shower materials on the market. Acrylic bathware is thermoformed from a single sheet of color-through acrylic and then sprayed on the back with a mixture of polyester resin and chopped fiberglass giving the product rigidity and strength.  With its strong cast acrylic surface and fiberglass backing material, it’s resistant to the rigors of everyday life including cracks and chips. The maintenance is easy and cost-effective — simply wash with soap and water, and your high-gloss colours are rich for life. No scrubbing grout or replacing tub liners.

Steel Bathtub is the least expensive. It is limited to a few standard sizes and typically only available for an alcove installation. Colours and sizes are limited. The finish is a sprayed-on porcelain enamel that is hardened by high heat. Since it is sprayed on, the finish thickness may not be consistent. If a scratch goes through the finish, the steel will rust. Most are made from a thin gauge of metal that can flex when used by a larger person.

Stamp steel is cheapest, has the worst surface finish, has good impact resistance, but can chip and rust.

Gel-Coat (also known as Fiberglass) is made by spraying a ”gel coating” paint (for color) onto a mould. Resin and chopped fiberglass are then sprayed on. The product cures and is then removed from the mould. The thickness of the finish may not be consistent and the colour does not go the whole way through. Over a period of time the finish tends to wear and stain (yellow). Once it is stained, it is difficult to clean.

Co-Extruded Acrylic Veneer is made by sandwiching two thin layers of acrylic onto an ABS core. Also known as Engineered Veneer it has good impact resistance and a good surface finish, but poor chemical resistance due to the thin acrylic surface. The thickness of the finish may not be consistent and the colours do not go the whole way through the product. Over a period of time the finish tends to wear and stain. Once it is stained, it is difficult to clean. If a scratch goes through the finish (thin acrylic surface), the core is a different colour and is susceptible to mould and mildew build-up and is not easily repairable.

The solid construction of our shower base is the foundation for our cast acrylic showers. When it comes to ensuring the success and longevity of our shower and tub shower bases, the choice of lumber plays a crucial role. Opting for kiln-dried lumber has a significant impact on the durability, strength, and overall quality of our bathware. Kiln drying is a meticulous process that involves removing moisture from wood by placing it inside a specialized kiln. This controlled environment helps to achieve the desired moisture content in the wood, reducing the chances of defects such as bowing, cupping, or twisting. Compared to regular green wood, kiln-dried lumber offers superior strength and stability. It does not shrink or change in size over time since much of the moisture has already been eliminated during the drying process. In contrast, green cut wood or air-dried wood may continue to dry after installation, leading to potential changes in size and the development of cracks, creeks, or warping. By selecting kiln-dried lumber for our shower and tubshower bases, we can ensure a high-quality product that stands the test of time.

If you experience a minor chip or crack in an acrylic surface we recommend utilizing the expertise of a qualified repair technician in your area to ensure a seamless repair. With their skills and knowledge, your acrylic surface will be restored to its original condition in no time. Don’t let minor blemish ruin the aesthetics of your space.

It is safe to use a bathmat in our showers as long as it does not adhere to the base of the unit with suction cups.  Bathmats with suction cups can cause significant damage to the acrylic surface and create a breeding ground for dirt and bacteria. Instead, we recommend using a Non-Slip Shower Mat, or Soft Bathtub Mat for textured surfaces that is quick drying, similar to a PVC loofah bath mat that is wet area approved without suction cups. Remember to always remove any anti-skid mat after each shower to avoid harming the surface finish.

Our bathware line features textured floors designed to enhance shower safety by minimizing slips and falls. It’s important to acknowledge that when our products encounter soap and water, their surfaces may become slippery under normal use conditions. Additionally, we emphasize the importance of our strategically positioned grab bars with textured finishes, which play a vital role in fall prevention. We offer a variety of grab bar options to customize and enhance our bathware models, allowing for placement in optimal locations recommended by engineers and architects for maximum safety. Your safety and comfort are paramount to us, and we remain dedicated to delivering products that prioritize both functionality and safety.

It’s easy to take care of your Longevity Acrylics bathware product by following these simple steps:

  • If using a household cleaner, make sure it is recommended for use on acrylic by the manufacturer. Be sure to read the label and follow the cleanser’s recommendations. Never use abrasive cleaners.
  • Do not allow your Longevity bathware surface to come into contact with products such as ketones or esters such as acetone or ethyl acetate (nail polish remover), Wintergreen oil (methyl salicylate), nail polish, dry cleaning solution or other chlorinated organic solvents, lacquer thinners, gasoline, aromatic solvents, pine oil, etc.
  • Remove dust and dry dirt with a soft, damp cloth. Clean grease, oil, paint and ink stains with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Dry with a clean, soft cloth.
  • Avoid using razor blades or other sharp instruments that might scratch the surface. Small scratches can be removed by applying a thin coat of automotive paste wax and buff lightly with a clean cloth.
  • If you use a rubber or plastic anti-skid mat, make sure to remove it after every shower to avoid harming the surface finish.

NOTE: We do not test cleaning products. If you are unsure if it can be used safely, please contact the manufacturer of the cleaning product to see if it can be used on cast acrylic.

The model number of your shower or tubshower unit can typically be found on the exterior side of the unit prior to installation. The side of the unit will display both the model number and the manufacturing date.

However, if your shower or tubshower has already been installed and you no longer have access to the exterior side, you can identify the model in the following way:

1. Measure the length of the Unit: Measure the total length of the unit from flange to flange. This measurement will help you determine the model.
2. Compare Measurements: Once you have the measurement, visit the website and compare your measurements with the dimensions of similar models listed on the site. This comparison will help you identify the correct model number for your installed unit.

By following these steps, you can accurately determine the model number of your shower or tubshower unit even after it has been installed.  If you need further assistance, feel free to contact our customer support team.

The black lines on our LAT line of shower doors consist of a silk-screened material applied to the interior surface of the shower glass. Cleaning them is straightforward: simply use a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and then use a shower squeegee to maintain the glass. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or tools as they may damage the surface.

In some showers, the coating is applied to only one side, indicating that the panel can be oriented in either direction while still ensuring the NanoShield™ coating faces the interior of the shower.

Alternatively, if the NanoShield™ coating is present on both sides, it’s applied to both surfaces of the shower glass.

Our shower doors are made of tempered glass, available in clear or obscured variants, with thickness options spanning from 5mm to 10mm. Our obscured glass design enables sufficient natural light to permeate the shower space while preserving the desired level of privacy.

To determine if our shower doors will be compatible with your older shower model, you will need to take two key measurements: the width and height of the door opening.

1. Width Measurement: Measure the distance across the door opening from one side to the other. This measurement will help you compare with the widths available (Door Code Legend / Size Code).

2. Height Measurement: Measure from the threshold (bottom) of the door opening to the start of the wall jamb radius. This will help you understand if the flat portion of the wall jamb is sufficient for installation. Please note that if the height is less than 70 inches, our doors will not be compatible.

Once you have these measurements, you can compare them with the dimensions provided in our product specifications to ensure a proper fit. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact our customer support team.
