Grab bars are fabricated to meet the requirements of ASTM #F446-85 with 1-1/2″ wall clearance and comply with ANSI A117.1-1986
Grab bars are 1-1/4” diameter fabricated of 304 stainless steel and anchored to the shower assembly at the attachment points via 5/16” diameter 304 stainless steel bolts complete with 4” x 4” – 1/8” thick galvanized steel backing plates
Exceeds load requirements of CSA B651-18, Accessible Design for the Built Environment and OBC section 3.7.14 (Davroc Testing Labs, 2023)
Installed to resist a force of at least 1.3 kN applied in any direction
Finish: stainless steel knurled finish
